Heel ("Hel," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Nexo Development. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Heel: Dog Behavior Fixer app ("the App") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. A quick summary
- We collect only what we need to run the App: an account identifier, the information you enter about your dog, your in-app purchase status, and basic device identifiers.
- We use a few trusted service providers (Supabase, Anthropic, RevenueCat, Apple) to operate the App.
- We do *not sell your personal information, and we do *not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- The App provides general, educational dog-training guidance. It is *not veterinary or professional behavior advice. See our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account and identifiers. When you use the App we create an account identifier so your dog profile and plans can sync and be restored. If you choose *Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address (or Apple's private relay address) you choose to share. Providing your real name/email is optional; the App works with an anonymous account.
- Information you provide about your dog. This includes your dog's name, age range, breed, living situation, the behavior problem you want to fix, severity, what you've tried, your daily check-ins, and any free-text you type (for example, in the "right now" help or when you describe what isn't working). We use this to generate and adjust your training plans.
- Purchase information. When you subscribe, we (through RevenueCat and Apple) receive your subscription status and purchase history. We never receive your full payment card details; Apple processes payments.
- Device identifiers. Our subscription provider (RevenueCat) uses a device identifier to manage and restore your purchases.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health data about you, or browsing history.
3. How we use your information
- To generate, deliver, and adjust your personalized, force-free training plans.
- To save your progress and let you restore it on a new device.
